I was up at 5am this morning (that is why I have sunnies on) to sell some bits and pieces it was well worth it as we made £430. I have not done one for a few years and have had this planned for a couple of months now I was a little worried yesterday as it was forecasting rain but luckily it held off. When we had a chance we took some pictures and by this time most of the clothes I had selected to sell had gone they pretty much went within the first half hour. It made me realise how much I would love to have my own stall selling beautiful vintage clothes I love selling and today I was in my element.

I also bagged myself a much wanted original military shirt and combat trousers not so sure about the trousers but love the shirt and it was £4.00 for both bargain.

Festi Footwear

So the summer sees the start of the festival season and with the Isle of Wight and Glastonbury festivals kicking off this month there is going to be a lot of fashion focus on festival outfits. Unfortunately you cannot rely on the English weather and more often than not it rains leading to a mud fest so the best festi footwear to pack is the good old welly or gum boot. Spartoo have a good selection check them out here. My favorite are the lilac ones by Aigle they are waterproof, super stylish and ankle length.

However it might not necessarily rain and maybe you could take advantage of other styles of festi footwear obviously no matter what the weather does heels are not an option so leave these at home. Another festi favorite is the gladiator sandal and these ones by Buffalo are perfect with their rock chick studs. Another fab alternative is the ankle boot and these distressed cowboy ankle boots again by Buffalo would give Kate Moss a run for her money.

If the weather is not too hot and a little overcast I think the Doc Marten is a great choice of boot they look awesome teamed with dresses and denim cut offs. Check out Spartoo's collection here.

They Have Arrived

I told you about these boots here and here well they have arrived and I am impressed with the quality for £22.99 obviously they are not real leather but the material is just as good and all in all a good copy of the Topshop ones. They are very high but have a platform and I would say comfortable for a few hours not sure if I could last in them all day. I give them a 9.5 out of 10 they lose half a point because of the height of the heel. I am sure you will see them on soon.
