New Additions
With the shops full of AW clothes and the English summer MIA I decided to have a jumper shopping spree I have fallen in love with the jumper and shorts combo over the last few months and decided that I needed to invest in a few more. Primark and H&M had so many fabulous offerings. I brought two jumpers from H&M two from Primark and then I found the most awesome aztec print knitted leggings in H&M and believe it or not I own pretty much everything leopard print apart from leggings so I picked these ones up for a bargain £9.99 from H&M. Oh and a cheeky Topshop sale purchase the hippie top just in case summer does decided to make a late appearance :)))

Budget smudge it oh I wish
Jumper Thifted, Pleather Trousers Topshop, Dress Topshop, Boots Aldo
Of course I could not wait to wear my new boots and the colour is perfect for spring it is still soooooo cold and that means clever layering is needed. This dress which I brought last year and was last seen here is perfect layered with a cosy chunky knit. Seems like I am not the only one with a tiny clothing budget judging by your comments yesterday xoxo
Guys if you like these boots they are £34.99 and here is the link such a bargain

Black Velvet
Dress Ronit Zilkha, Cardigan Topshop, Boots Topshop, Gloves Spartoo
This dress was on ebay last month as I wanted to sell it luckily it did not sell as I have found a new love for it. I love the depth of colour of the embroidered roses on the black velvet background it also looks great teamed with a piece of chunky knitwear I love how you can add knitwear to an evening dress and it automatically works for daytime. I took these pics last week when the snow was still around.
Wow we will soon be saying goodbye to 2010 and welcoming in 2011. I have work tomorrow so it is going to be a quiet one for me. What are you guys up too????
Happy New Year chickens have a good one xoxo

Let the festivities start
Getting excited for Christmas today is my last day at work then I am off for three days which believe me is really rare so I am going to enjoy them, then it is back to work for the busy rush of the Christmas sales. Oh and I have finally finished my Christmas shopping. I brought these thigh high boots last year from H&M I am a little gutted as Stefenal had the most amazing pair of black thigh high boots and I am a big fan of thigh highs well I was going to wait for the sales as I knew that they would not sell luckily living in a town devoid of fashion means that I get my hands on some fab pieces but sadly they did not sell but got transferred out arghhh. The Michael Kors vest has gone into sale at 40% I am going to wait for a larger discount I want at least 50%.
Some of you guys have been asking who takes my pictures I do with my trusty tripod and self timer that is why location pictures are few and far between would feel mega stupid in public with my tripod.

Belt Up
Jacket Next, Shorts ASOS, Scarf Tara Jarmon, Belt Nicole Farhi, Boots Dune
The snow has not magically disappeared I took these pictures on Monday it is still very much a wintery scene here in the south of England. I am so obsessed with the D&G collection for me it totally sums Christmas and winter up with their reindeer jumpers and festive knits who could not want to turn to them for inspiration as the temperature drops and we get closer to Christmas. I took inspiration from a very tiny detail the way they belted there scarfs.

Layer Up
Trousers H&M, Cardigan Topshop, Top Topshop, Fur Collar H&M, Wedges Blue Inc, Gloves H&M (old)
I love this cold weather and I love dressing for it you can layer and add some really interesting accessories I have dug out my fur collar from last year and my long leather gloves. I have also put a pair of black tights under these trousers so my outfit might not look that warm but it is due to clever layering. I was going to take these trousers back as I asked my mum if she liked them and she blankly replied "no" and as I had brought them with some of the birthday money she had given me it kind of put me off them anyway I put them on and thought no I like them they are very me so I am keeping them.

Over Exposed
Poncho ASOS, SHorts Topshop, Jumper Topshop, Boots Office, Socks H&M
We have not had any snow here in the South so weird as the rest of the country is covered in a wintery white blanket. It is by no way warm though and this outfit was a little impractical as I damn well nearly froze to death outside but the shops are so warm and I hate being hot saying that this blanket poncho is surprisingly warm with a chunky knit jumper under it and as long as I did not spend to much time outside it was perfect.. I am starting to get excited for Christmas are you guys????

Snuggly Buggly
Shorts ASOS, Cardigan Thrifted, Blouse Miss Selfridge, Boots Dune, Legwarmer M&S, Hat Linea
The knitted shorts that I told you about here arrived and I love them what a fabulous winter piece of clothing. I have wanted knitted shorts for ages and even asked my nan last year to knit me a pair. I did want to team them with a fairlsle jumper like D&G but I never got round to going to Primark as they have totally picked up on the D&G trend I will pop in there next week and do another outfit post with these shorts. This is my last piece of knitwear that I got on my thrifting trip the other week. I am really loving the trends this season are you guys????

Thrifty
Vintage Leather Shorts Ebay, Cardigan Thrifted, Boots Topshop, Blouse Miss Selfridge
Some of you guys may know that I am really unsucessful at thrifting but I am trying to improve these skills so I popped into to few charity shops the other day with an idea of what I was looking for these included knitwear, blouses in rust or berry colours and sheepskin. I could not believe my luck I picked up three stunning pieces of knitwear I did find a really beautiful sheepskin jacket in perfect condition but it was just that little bit too big such a shame as it was only £20.
I am wearing one of the thrifted pieces I found in this post I love that it can be worn over the shoulders with the large button done up. Sorry for sad face not sure why xoxo

I love Topshop and this season's collection is fabulous they have really channeled this seasons knitwear trend and have the most fabulous pieces. I literally cant take this cardigan off I brought it last week with these shorts which are also fabulous and I know I will wear loads, they are made from the most beautiful silk and the colour is stunning.
As you can see the spare room is finished just waiting for the carpet to be laid which is being done today :)) this was the room that I did a few photos in with the bare plaster and pink walls.

Layer Cake
Jumper Topshop (old), Trousers H&M, Scarf Made by my Nan, Boots Topshop, Bag Gucci
Thank you for all my birthday wishes. I spent yesterday with my mum we went to Ikea yeah I know a kind of weird thing to do on a birthday and believe me I will not be doing it again lol. I went for curtains and a sheepskin rug sadly the sheepskin rug was too yellow so I decided against it but I did get my curtains. The rest of the day was spent relaxing and chilling with my mum eating cake and fish and chips.
My nanna made the scarf I am wearing for me last year it goes perfectly with my Nicole Farhi cardigan.
I treated myself to this ring check it out here. It is from Ydeltuyt I saw them on Eri from Pretty Portabello here and straight away went onto their website where they had sold out but I checked this morning and the brown one had come back in stock I put it straight into my basket you have to be quick because they sell so fast and they are stupidly cheap too. xoxo
