It is Bank Holiday Monday and not a very nice day weather wise so I have been doing a little online shopping two new pairs of boots are on their way. I told you about the Topshop copy of the Amazeog wedge on Boo Hoo here then Blooming Vogue told me that they were cheaper on ebay and I found ebayer seller Strawberry Chic selling them for £26.99 so I have ordered them and also as a fan of wearing cowboy boots in the summer I have also ordered these grey suede ones from Spartoo.

Fun in the Sun
I took these pictures a couple of days ago when we had beautiful sun shine and now it is overcast and grey again. I love cut off jeans as I have said before here and here as much as I love wearing them teamed with tights they do look amazing with bare legs. I am wearing a pair of 1990 vintage Levis 501 cut offs DIYed by myself I won them on ebay by for 0.99p :). I teamed them with my knee high gladiators from Topshop which I got about two years ago I love that I can dig these out of the back of the wardrobe.

Plastic Fantastic
Now some might think that plastic is not the best fabric for a shoe especially in summer but they are actually made of melflex, a hypoallergenic, recyclable, flexible PVC they are also perfumed. Melissa has designed some great styles this season too. I love the Kali with the super stylish black wedge and the cute little bow on the front. The Treasure with its multi strap peep toe is also very cute and a fab colour.
Check out a great selection of Melissa shoes at Spartoo

Finally, a moment!
I got my haircut on Wednesday as planned, and I'm still loving it short. I have another appointment this coming Sunday (this cut means a lot of upkeep, like a trim every 3-4 weeks), and Miss Ellie will be getting her first professional cut that morning too! I'm really excited for her. My talents only go so far, and well, her hair needs a good trim.
Thursday, the day of my birthday, was an incredible day. We took Ellie to D&D for a pink donut (they're kiddie crack you know), then dropped her off at daycare for the day. Harry and I proceeded to the casino after rush hour traffic had let up. The burgers at Bobby's Burger Palace are PHENOMENAL. If you live near one, go get a burger. Now. And the shakes? Good Lord, the dark chocolate shake is to die for. They even make them with alcohol in them. I'm so trying one of those next time.
I lost my $20 gambling (big spender, I know), but Harry won $125! Score. We mosied on over to the outlets where he let me pick out whatever I wanted (I only got 2 shirts) then gave me 1/2 the winnings remaining because he's so awesome. We picked Ellie up from daycare, I did a little more birthday shopping (and scored a cute polka dot dress), then we went home to make pizza for my birthday dinner (when I say we, I mean Harry). We ate pizza till we busted, then became total sloths and indulged in the Italian rum cake my mom bought for me.
After cake, Harry and I drove off to the Mexican restaurant I mentioned to meet up with Lea and Patrick and Kevin and Heather for drinks. It was a great night! The margaritas were super strong, the company was lovely, and I looked pretty killer in a red tank with matching red crocodile heels. Yes, I'm totally calling myself a hottie.
THEN, as if that's not enough, Kate and Chloe showed up the next day for their weekend visit. Meeting the both of them was awesome, and I wish they lived closer. Ellie's been talking about Chloe daily, and I enjoyed all the chatting I did with Kate (girl can talk just as much as I can! Love it).
We just loafed around the house the whole weekend, but there ain't nothin' wrong with that. We watched the girls play, we imbibed a drink or two, and we talked A LOT. I was sad to see her go, and I hope we can go down to VA to visit her soon.
Since then, I've just been trucking, working like a fiend, going on playdates for Miss Ellie, doing a little more shopping (oh, how I love it), and enjoying the fabulous sunshine. I picked up a Calvin Klien LBD and some Steve Madden heels in addition to the polka dot birthday dress that I plan on wearing to Tom and Stacey's wedding since the pretty copper dress I originally bought for it no longer fits (it's too big!). I will post pics of said LBD because I love it, love it, love it. Dude, it's a size 6. A freakin' size 6.
Lastly, I will leave you with a pic of me in my other polka dot dress the day of Stacey's wedding shower a couple of months ago. My hair was longer and I was a few pounds heavier, but damn, I think I look good. I'm so full of myself now.
My Beautiful New Ring
Dress Topshop, Boots Topshop (old), Bag Gucci, Ring LuShae Jewlery, Sunnies Ray Ban
The lovely Sarah from LuShae Jewelry asked me to review a piece of her jewellery and I have to say it is stunning. The ring arrived in perfect condition yesterday. The company is actually based in Australia but ships from the USA. It is such a beautiful day today and the stones are dancing in the beautiful sunlight. The ring itself is called Pride and is two toned 14k gold and white gold rhodium bonded with pave CZ clusters in a gold and silver tone. I love it as it reminds me of leopard print which is one of my favorite prints. I can see this working with most of my outfits. She does not only stock rings she also has a great collection of crosses, pendants, earrings, Promise Rings and bracelets check out here amazing collection of very affordable and beautiful jewellery here.
It also goes perfectly with todays outfit.

That H&M Print
I love this print so much I worked over the weekend and every other person from I would say aged 15 to 65 was wearing this print in some form or another. The older age group were wearing the tunic and the younger age group were wearing the cute little dress luckily I only saw one girl wearing the boob tube. I am also loving my harems I am going to get the grey ones. This whole outfit well harems and top came in just over £10 :)
The necklaces are all gifts my family and friends they know that if they want to buy me something from there travels then the best thing is jewellery.

Fruit Salad
Dress H&M, Shoes Spartoo
I have been at work all day and now I am off to meet my friends for a nice evening. The shape and colours of this H&M Garden Collection dress are stunning I still cant believe that it was £14.99. I really enjoyed twirling around in it and the colours remind me of a fruit salad. This dress really does not need any styling it is simply stunning on its own. I teamed it with my clogesque sandals to make it less evening. I seriously love this dress. Have a lovely evening xoxo

Clog On
I have found some great alternatives on Spartoo for those of you who like the look but want something a little more wearable. I have the Minelli ones and they are a great alternative the open toe is perfect for Summer and the strap means that they will actually stay on your foot these tick many boxes.
Scholl the shoe maker of comfortable shoes have also realised that there is a come back for the clog and they have redesigned there classic shoe for something a little more fashion forward I love these and the wooden stiletto heel is so elegant and I love the T bar strap perfect for summer and I would imagine very comfortable.

Feels Like Summer
Playsuit Day Birger (old), Shoes River Island, Necklace H&M, Rings and Bangles Gifts & ASOS
Finally a beautiful day and I am off work yay. I used my new H&M necklace as inspiration for todays outfit and it felt like it had a bit of a modern day hippie vibe. I brought this jumpsuit a couple of years ago from Day Birger and it is still on trend I teamed it with lots of my turquoise silver jewellery and I really do feel like I am on a hippie retreat with the birds singing and the beautiful warm air.
I am also wearing my hair extensions I use American Dream ones I highly recommend them these ones are 24" long for extra length I just wish I could get my own hair to grow this long. Have a wonderful day xoxo

Cream Lace Dress on a Grey Day
I wanted a lace dress for ages but I wanted something loose and not fitted I found one by John Zack in the department store where I work it was £50 so I checked out ebay and won this one for a bargain £13.49.
