I hate it when real life gets in the way of my shopping so pay day is coming very soon and I had all these ideas of what I was going to treat myself too. The other day I noticed a flat tyre on my car and as I was filling up it with air I noticed it was in pretty bad condition I checked the others and they were bad too so off to the garage where I was told I needed four new tyres costing £174 OMG what I could buy with this amount of money. New shoes went straight out the window, the gorgeous fringe leather jacket my montly shopping trip was ruined arrghhhhh. So this month I will be on a shopping ban well maybe a little one ;)

So today I am not off on my usual shopping trip to buy fab fashion goodies I am off to the tyre garage to purchase new shoes for my car. I thought I would wear my leather look pants I have not worn them for a while and seeing as the weather has turned wintery again they seem perfect. Yesterday I had a sort out of my jewellery and came across the three necklaces I am wearing today the heart locket is my nans and I have had since I was a little girl. The Christian Dior one is also quite old too I thought I would put them all on today.

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

The new black and white campaign has started for Fashion Targets Breats Cancer and runs from 29th March until mid May. Kylie Minogue, Claudia Schiffer and Sienna Miller are the faces fronting the campaign photograhed by Mario Testino. There are also some goregous items on sale from some of our fav High Street stores check out the full collection here with 30% from each sale being donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Cut Offs DIY, Jacket Miss Selfridge, Belt New Look, Boots Urban Outfitters, Body Topshop

I really do love Kate Moss laid back style and how she looks in denim cut offs. This outfit is based loosely on this. I brought the sequin jacket from Miss Selfridge at Christmas time I have only worn it once but with cut offs it had a feel of Miss Moss festival looks. I had to wear tights as it is still too cold to loose them. She really is the Queen of cut offs. Sorry for miserable face and I am having a bad hair day dont you just hate them :(

In the dark

A new brand arrived in the Department store where I work last week. I did not pay much attention to them as it was a brand that I had not heard much about and the clothes looked a little sombre. There shop fit is very exciting and has a real futuristic feel about it maybe not really suiting the style of clothes but I wondered past the department yesterday and picked up one of their brochures and I was impressed with what I saw. The brand is Italian and is called Stefanel.

I really love the young feel that there campaign has and I love the way the images were taken behind the scenes before there runway show. I especially love the white jumpsuit it has a very sexy feel about it but the tan accessories play it down and make it work as a daytime look. I also love the denim pants with the drawstring.

A leather dream

Top Primark, Harness Etsy, Vintage Leather Shorts Ebay, Clogs River Island

I really enjoy wearing this harness and the best way is with florals. I brought this top years ago from Primark and I wanted to try the harness with a top or dress with a sleeve so I thought this would be perfect. I am also getting used to walking in my clogs they are a little difficult especially with tights. I was going to buy the ones that have just dropped in Topshop but I have made the decision that seeing as clogs are a one season hit I really do not see the point investing in another pair this was a hard decision as the Topshop ones are more like the Chanel and JC ones.

I am a big fan of jumpsuits and I brought this one from H&M last year I am surprised that the jumpsuit trend did not catch on. I have been wearing them for a while now and brought a few vintage ones and of course they have become a little easier to find since the High Street caught on to this trend. I have noticed that they are not that common and I wonder why they are a lot more comfortable to wear then dresses and they have a cute quirky twist about them.

Do leopards roar

Shirt Ronit Zilkha, Skirt River Island, Boots Topshop, Necklace Miss Selfridges

I saw this skirt in River Island a while ago and it had sold out in my size I tried a couple of River Island stores and even online with no luck. I thought I would give ebay a try and I found one and won it last week and it was also £8.00 cheaper :). It arrived this morning and I could not wait to wear it I teamed it with a sheer top which I found in my wardrobe while having a clear out I actually found quite a few sheer tops that I will be wearing soon.

I got one

Jumpsuit H&M, Cardigan H&M, Belt Topshop, Boots Nine West

Todays outfit is from Saturday night. I noticed that Balmain used gold lame in there S/S10 collection so I thought I would take inspiration from there collection with my H&M gold lame jumpsuit and team it with these boots which are also a good copy of there ones.

I popped into H&M on my lunch break and was so excited to see a new delivery of the Garden Collection and the dress that I really wanted was there and in my size :). I also picked up and pair of grey lace trimmed cycling shorts. The dress is so beautiful on and I love the colours especially the mustard I cant wait to wear it and we have the most perfect pair of shoes at Nicole Farhi that would look gorgeous with it sorry for the bad picture but I tried them on today and wanted you all to see them.

Jog On

I tried these joggers on in Topshop the other day as a fan of Wang I thought I would try a Wang inspired sport look. These Topshop joggers looked great on but I did feel that I did not want to spend £20 on a look that I might not like so I went to my local sports store and scored a pair for £8. I wanted to wear them with heels and these lace up boots are perfect today's outfit is an experiment and I must admit I do like the look and next time I will style it a bit more with accessories but in the mean time this is a fab Sunday look seeing as I am chilling with a copy of Elle and my favorite bloggers.

Black & White

Shirt Dress H&M, Jacket H&M, Harness Etsy, Boots Boo Hoo

I have been looking for a white shirt dress for a while and found this one in H&M the other day it is a great length and also has a nice shape to it. The weather was a little warmer today so I decided that this military jacket that I also brought from H&M last year was perfect and gave a little twist to my outfit.

A new H&M opened today in one of my local towns and I was so excited as it was also the launch of the much awaited Garden collection so you can imagine my disappointment that they only had about 15 pieces maximum I walked out of there with nothing. I am hoping that the H&M store in the town where I work have more these are the pieces that I would like to own from the collection.

Rapunzel

My leather harness that I told you about here arrived yesterday I was very impressed with how quickly it arrived. I love it I wore it a little safe today to get people used to it I think they thought I had a dress on as it sits on top of the skirt. I really wanted to wear it with a silk girly dress but I have not really got one for uniform apart from the dress I wore yesterday and I was not going to wear that again today. I took inspiration from Mulberry, Alexander Wang and Alexander McQueens S/S10 collections for my outfit today.

Good God Clogs

Dress Topshop, Blouse Gap, Bralet Topshop, Biker Jacket ASOS, Clogs River Island, Clutch Ghost

Today I popped into town to look around the shops I was on a mission to find nudes I decided against buying the stripey maxi dress I am going to wait nearer to summer as it will sit in my wardrobe for a couple of months before I can even wear it. I tried on a nude shirt in Miss Selfridge but I wanted to wear it as a dress and it was not quite long enough I found a cute top in New Look went back to get it and it had gone :( I will pick one up tomorrow in the town where I work if they have any left.

I am showing off my clogs today I have a confession I did not actually wear them out as I need to get used to wearing them I am not that great on a platform so I am going to wear them around the house for a bit. I love them though I was not quite sure how to wear them and I think with dresses is the best way I tried them with harems but it looked a little strange. I think these ones are a little more sophisticated then the chunky wooden heel ones that Jeffrey Campbell has done but I am torn between this style and the JC style ones. I also know that Topshop have done a pair very similar to the JC ones I can't wait for them to hit the stores.
